GROUP CAMPS & STAYS

Stay in Nature

Are you looking for accommodation for a school trip or a group or association? We have the rooms and facilities you need. There is a shared kitchen where you can prepare your own meals, whether it is breakfast, dinner or packed lunches for the day's activities. In the shared rooms, you will find plenty of activities, including table tennis, board games and a TV with PlayStation.

Outside, we light campfires for long summer evenings or as an activity during the day. The children can also enjoy water fights on our large grassy areas – the only limit is their imagination.

Whether you are travelling as a school group or an association, a trip like this is a great opportunity to strengthen friendships and create memories that will last for a long time. Spending time together is at the heart of the experience. And not only does Filsø Naturferie offer plenty of activities, the surrounding area is also full of exciting experiences.

Activities for the group

The fascinating Tirpitz Museum is located in Blåvand, approximately 25 km away. The museum tells the story of the Second World War and Hitler's plans to build two enormous bunkers. For anyone interested in history, the exhibition is well worth a visit. It covers everything from the invasion of Poland to Hitler's final hours. The exhibition is interactive, allowing visitors to explore history through light and sound and experience it in a more immersive way.

You can also travel to Esbjerg and visit the Fisheries and Maritime Museum. Here, you can learn more about the Wadden Sea, wildlife along the west coast and the offshore oil and wind industries. Every day, the seals are fed while visitors learn about the animals, their diet and behaviour. You can also see the many fish and crabs, and in the centre of the large exhibition there is a pool where you can get up close to and touch the fish.

Esbjerg also offers plenty of shopping opportunities and cultural experiences at Musikhuset or the Esbjerg Art Museum. You can also visit Varde, where you can see Minibyen, a miniature version of the present-day town centre of Varde. During the summer, Varde Sommerspil offers popular outdoor theatre performances that are a great experience for both children and adults.
